Eudora football turns back Spring Hill

? Eudora — Grant Elston gained 139 yards on 20 carries, and Andrew Ballock completed seven of 13 passes for 102 yards to lead Eudora to a 35-7 victory over Spring Hill on Saturday in high school football.

McLouth 28, Pleasant Ridge 6

Easton — Drew Cerny gained 135 yards on 21 carries and scored on runs of one and 29 yards for McLouth in a game suspended from Friday in the second quarter.

Nick McAferty gained 66 yards on six carries and scored on runs of three and 23 yards.

Baldwin 49, De Soto 7

Two second-quarter touchdowns in less than a minute gave Baldwin all the momentum it needed. The game was played Saturday at Free State High after a Friday storm forced postponement.

Baldwin is 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the Frontier League.
