The Raven Book Store, 6 E. Seventh St., will host a launch party at 7 p.m. Friday for entertainment journalist Jon Niccum’s new book, “The Worst Gig: From Psycho Fans to Stage Riots, Famous Musicians Tell All.”

After hundreds of interviews and about 15 years asking touring musicians about the worst shows they’ve ever played, Niccum has compiled the most embarrassing, hilarious and insane moments from live shows in his book.
