Local author Vicki Julian will be sharing the story she contributed to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Wives,” as part of the Kansas Authors Club 37th Annual Holiday Bazaar.

Along with the other contributors, Julian wrote on the joys and difficulties of being a Christian wife, a story that is intended to support women who face marital uncertainties or who are looking for guidance to keep their marriages grounded in enduring love. The book consists of 101 devotionals including a scripture reading, a “Chicken Soup for the Soul” story and a custom-written prayer.

The event will take place Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrence Community Center, 115 W 11th St., where Julian will also be signing copies of the book.
