Lawrence city clerk accepts city manager position in Missouri
Jonathan Douglass, Lawrence’s city clerk and assistant to the city manager, is leaving his job to become the city manager of Sikeston, Mo., the city of Lawrence announced Tuesday.
Sikeston is a city of 16,000 people located in southeast Missouri. Douglass became Lawrence’s city clerk in 2009.
“My family and I will miss Lawrence tremendously, but we are excited to take on this new challenge,” Douglass said in a statement.
