Houston ? Kansas University’s Claire Dreyer and Dylan Windom advanced to the Round of 16 in the main singles draw of the Cougar Classic on Day 2 of the tournament Saturday.

Dreyer, in her first tourney back from a five-week injury, won, 3-6, 7-6, 6-3. Windom won, 6-4, 6-4. Maria Jose Cardona lost, 7-6, 6-4. All three earned victories in matches on Friday.

In doubles, Cardona and partner Maria Belen Ludueña advanced to today’s flight finals, as did Dreyer and Anastasija Trubica.
