KSHSAA released Class 6A regional brackets Saturday, and three Free State High spring sports teams will play host to at least one playoff game this coming week.

It all starts Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., when Free State girls soccer (9-6), a No. 4 seed in the Central regionals, faces No. 5 Olathe Northwest (8-7).

At 17-3, the FSHS baseball team secured the No. 1 seed in its region. The Firebirds will play host to No. 8 Kansas City, Kan., Wyandotte (0-9) at 4 p.m. Wednesday. If Free State wins, it advances to a regional championship game that evening against Olathe Northwest (12-8) or Topeka Washburn Rural (11-9).

Free State softball will host a four-team regional of its own the same day. The No. 2 seed Firebirds (17-3) take on No. 7 Junction City (4-16) at 3 p.m. A Firebirds win would mean a spot in a regional final that night against Olathe Northwest (14-6) or rival Lawrence High (8-12).

Lawrence baseball earned a No. 3 seed and travels to Manhattan on Wednesday. The Lions (13-7) face No. 6 Junction City (6-14) at 2 p.m. With a win, Lawrence would move on to a regional title game against Manhattan (14-5) or Topeka (5-15).

LHS girls soccer (1-14-1) is the No. 7 seed in the Central regionals and plays at No. 2 Junction City (12-3) at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

In the 4-3-2-1A girls soccer Northeast Regional 4, No. 13 seed Bishop Seabury Academy (1-4) plays at No. 4 De Soto (10-6) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
