Ryan Cantrell pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings in relief, but the Lawrence Raiders fell to the Smithville Warriors, 4-1, on Friday in the William Jewell baseball showcase at Missouri Western.

C.J. Stuever tripled for one of the Raiders’ four hits, and Raiders catcher Drew Green threw out three Smithville runners.

The Raiders (0-3) will play two games today. They will meet the K.C. Bombers at 3:15 p.m. and play an opponent to be determined at 5:30 p.m.
