One passenger involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident on U.S. Highway 59 was transported to Kansas University Hospital by LifeStar helicopter around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The accident was in the southbound lane of U.S. 59 at mile marker 141, about 10 miles south of Lawrence.

Three other people in the vehicle, a Chevrolet Sububan, suffered minor injuries when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over, Douglas County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Lewis said.
