Pittsburg ? Shane Willoughby and Tristan Garber each went 3-for-4 with two RBIs to help the Lawrence Raiders defeat Hillcrest (Mo.), 14-4, in the first of their two games Thursday in the Pittsburg Legion baseball tournament. The Raiders fell to Kickapoo (Mo.), 4-2, in the second game.

Briggs Fish went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Hillcrest.

The Raiders, 1-1 in the Pittsburg tournament and 19-11-1 overall, will continue play in the tournament at 9 a.m. today at Fort Scott’s field.
