Letter: Options, costs

To the editor:

The political cartoon on the editorial page of the July 8 Lawrence Journal-World showed a GOP “freedom of choice” vending machine — empty. One thing about vending machines; you have to put money in to get anything out. The other vending machine, which apparently is full of options, also has a slot for money. In other words, whatever choice a pregnant woman makes, whether to abort or deliver her child, there is a cost. And that’s not in terms of dollars and cents.

---well said Verna. a woman who aborts her child pays in nondollar terms, n suffering.

my wife is a victim of abortion. it contributed to our inability to have children.

B_G, thank you for corroborating, with real-life experience. So sorry for the impact on both you and your wife.

Romans832, you're welcome, important to make this clear.

possibly the greatest lie of the abortion industry is that women have an abortion and it's all done. that's wrong, because it is a life changing choice with huge implications.

we know that publicly disclosed in the news at least two women died of legal abortions last year, for example (chicago and Philadelphia).

we were glad for Verna's letter to the editor because of this need for truth tocome out.

there are always at least two victims of abortion, the child and the pregnant mother.

worldwide, far more female children are aborted than male. black babies are disproportionately aborted here in the U.S.

injustice.

the radical feminists like to claim "war on women," etc., but here's Verna writing. and Verna is indeed a woman. they also like to say that men shouldn't have an opinion, or shouldn't express their opinions regarding abortion. yet, abortion impacts us men too, in many ways.
