Raiders turn rally into rout, win 17-10

? The Lawrence Raiders beat the Midwest Bruins, 17-10, Tuesday night at Topeka Seaman.

The Raiders fell behind, 7-1, in the first inning, but led, 10-8, before scoring seven runs in the top of the seventh inning to put the game out of the Bruins’ reach.

Shane Willoughby batted in five runs for the Raiders, who had 14 hits. C.J. Stuever had four hits and Kieran Severa three.

The Raiders (18-10-1) begin a tournament in Pittsburg on Thursday morning.
