Heather Karlin, a 2011 graduate of Baldwin High School, has been named to the fall 2012 President’s List of Benedictine College. To qualify, students must maintain 4.0 GPA during the semester.

Joshua Marc Mahlios, a 1999 graduate of Lawrence High School, has earned a doctoral degree in immunology at Duke University in Durham, N.C.

McPherson College has annouced its fall 2012 Honor Roll and Honorable Mention students. To qualify for the Honor Roll, students must earn a GPA of 3.55 or higher. Students earning a GPA from 3.25 to 3.54 are named to the Honorable Mention Roll.

Daniel Mangiaracino, 12, a student at Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, won the Ovation Young Artist Piano

Competition 2013 on Jan. 12 in Kansas City, Mo. He also received the Artistic Performance Award. Daniel was invited to perform his winning solo piano pieces on Feb. 9 for the Chinese New Year Celebration Concert in Kansas City.

The Kansas University Public Management Center has announced the 2012 graduates of the Kansas Certified Public Manager (CPM) program.
