Seabury girls fall

— Bishop Seabury Academy took a four-point lead into halftime, but two single-digit quarters after the break doomed the Seahawks to a 46-35 loss in the Tonganoxie Invitational.

Seabury scored just four points in the third quarter and nine in the fourth as De Soto rallied with a 28-point second half.

Courtney Hoag led Seabury with 17 points. Alexa Gaumer added eight.

Megan Bonar had 19 and Paige Williams 18 for De Soto.

Seabury (3-5) will play again at 3 p.m. Thursday.
