Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 500 block of Eldridge Street about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, according to Lawrence Police spokeswoman Kim Murphree.

According to witnesses, there was a fight between two women, and then men in two vehicles exchanged gunfire. The Lawrence Police call log states that 16 officers responded to the incident.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made, Murphree said. The investigation is continuing.
