Baldwin City — Baldwin High’s boys basketball team found one quarter of inspired ball wasn’t enough to overcome three quarters of listless play.

Second-seeded Baldwin lost, 39-37, to Louisburg on Monday in the first round of sub-state play. Baldwin (13-7) fell behind 37-19 before scoring 18 straight points in the fourth quarter. Louisburg’s Wyatt Sander hit the game-winner with 2.1 seconds left.
