Eudora ? Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team capped its season with a big win on Saturday, 54-20 over Manhattan’s Flint Hills Christian.

Seniors Thomas Bachert (15 points) and Andrew Currier (12) led the way for the Eagles, who improved to 16-7.

“It was a fun game to finish off the regular season and get us some momentum going into the state tournament next week,” Veritas coach Gary Hammer said.

Veritas will face Wichita Sunrise at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the state tourney in Junction City.
