KU moves up to No. 9 in both polls

The Kansas men’s basketball team moved up to No. 9 in both the Associated Press and USA Today coaches polls released Monday.

KU, which was No. 14 in the AP poll and No. 13 in the coaches poll a week ago, defeated both Kansas State and Texas at home last week.

Kansas State (13th AP/13th coaches) and Oklahoma State (14th/14th) were the other Big 12 schools that received national rankings.
