Junior Jordan Piché picked up his first victory, pitching in relief of starter Thomas Taylor.
Piché and the Jayhawk bullpen held Nevada scoreless on five hits in 72⁄3 innings of work over the weekend.
Taylor went 62⁄3 innings, allowing two earned runs on nine hits with no walks and five strikeouts.
The teams will conclude the series at 1 p.m. today.
