Baldwin City — Semi Ojeleye scored 17 second-half points but only one field goal on the night in Ottawa High’s 14-point boys basketball victory.

Baldwin frustrated Ojeleye with a triangle-and-two defense and trailed by only two points, 26-24, at halftime.

The Cyclones (18-0) shot 25-of-41 from the free-throw line.

Baldwin City — Baldwin ended a three-game losing streak Friday with an overtime victory against Ottawa.

Senior Kailyn Smith made two three-pointers in the last 3:22 in regulation and a free throw with less than a second on the clock to bring the Bulldogs back from a five-point deficit.

Junior Katie Jones made two free throws with six seconds remaining in overtime to give Baldwin the win.
