Aquahawks openings: The Lawrence Aquahawks swimming team is always accepting new members. The Aquahawks are a year-round USA Swimming-sponsored competitive swim team. The Aquahawks offer a swim lesson program and competitive swim team for all ages. The Aquahawks are coached by professional coaches with weekly practices geared toward a variety of skill levels. FUNdamental Softball: Learn the proper mechanics and techniques to play softball. Emphasis placed on fundamental instruction teaching the aspects of pitching, catching, fielding, base-running and hitting. Coach and team consulting available, too. Eudora soccer: Deadline for Eudora spring soccer leagues is Feb. 16. Coach meeting and draft will be Feb. 23, with games beginning March 30. Sign up online at or at the Eudora Community Center.

Eudora blastball: Registration is under way for Eudora blastball leagues. There will be four sessions: March/April; May; June/July and August/September. Sign up online at or at the Community Center.

Eudora baseball, softball: The Eudora Amateur Baseball and Softball Association has begun its 2013 registration period. The EABSA offers coed T-ball, softball and baseball for ages 5 to 14 years old in a recreational, learning environment.
