Area basketball: Tonganoxie swept by Mill Valley; Baldwin splits with Paola; Eudora sweeps

Mill Valley 70, Tonganoxie 45

Shawnee — Wyatt Voorhes scored 19 points, including five three-pointers, as Mill Valley rolled past Tonganoxie in high school boys basketball on Friday at Mill Valley.

Brett Hamilton scored 13 points for Mill Valley (12-2), which travels to KC Ward on Tuesday.

Jackson Heights 76, Oskaloosa 56

Holton — Jackson Heights pulled away in the third quarter.

McLouth 43, Riverside 41

McLouth — McLouth (7-7) trailed by a point going into the fourth quarter but won by two.

Baldwin 64, Paola 62

Paola — Chad Berg hit a running jumper in the lane with two seconds on the clock, giving Baldwin (11-4) a 64-62 victory at Paola.

The contest had 12 lead changes.

Eudora 51, Louisburg 43

Eudora — Zach Scroggin scored 14 points and Grant Elston added 12 points to lead Eudora.

The Cardinals will play Tuesday at Baldwin.

Santa Fe Trail 49, Nemaha Valley 42

Carbondale — Dani Jo Kuney led a balanced Charger scoring attack with 10 points, as Santa Fe Trail (12-3) won by seven points.

Santa Fe Trail hosts Jefferson West on Tuesday.

Eudora 34, Louisburg 32

Eudora — Louisburg missed its final shot in the last seconds, and Eudora won by two points behind leading scorer, Allie Webb, who had 12 points.

Eudora (6-9) travels to Baldwin on Tuesday.

Shawnee — Mackenzie Conklin led Mill Valley with 18 points in a six-point win.
