The National Weather Service is forecasting a low of -4 degrees Monday in the Lawrence area.

The NWS predicts a 20 percent chance of snow before noon Monday with a high near 15 degrees. Heading into the evening, skies will be partly cloudy as temperatures dip below zero.

A northerly wind is expected to blow at 5 miles per hour, adding a windchill that could reach for negative double-digits.
