Two Lawrence residents appointed to councils
Two Lawrence residents have been selected by Gov. Sam Brownback to serve on councils that assist Kansans with disabilities.
Hal Schultz, who serves as a community liaison and advocacy trainer for the Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas, was appointed to a 3-year term on the Kansas Rehabilitation Council. The council helps those with disabilities achieve employment and independence.
Bradley Linnenkamp, also an advocacy trainer at the Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas, was appointed to a 3-year term on the Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities, which helps people with developmental disabilities improve their quality of life.
