Gardner ? Lawrence High’s wrestling team lost a road dual, 61-12, Wednesday night at Gardner-Edgerton.

Isaias Rojo, Garrett Girard and Alex Jones won their matches for the Lions, who left two weight classes open and competed without Alan Clothier, who was injured.

“We had a lot of young guys in the lineup tonight,” LHS coach Pat Naughton said. “They fought hard, and just need to have more mat time. We are looking forward to the new year and a fresh start to our season.”
