Jayhawks fall to 18th in latest AP poll

Last week’s loss at Florida dropped the Kansas University men’s basketball team five spots in the most recent Associated Press poll.

KU, which was ranked 13th last week, fell to No. 18 after losing to Florida but bouncing back with a victory over New Mexico at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., last Saturday.

The Jayhawks (7-3) are one of just two teams in the Top 25 with three losses. The other is 8-3 Kentucky, which sits at No. 19.

Florida (7-2) moved up three spots, from 19 to 16, on the strength of its victory over Kansas.

KU is off until Saturday, when they play host to Georgetown at 11 a.m. at Allen Fieldhouse.
