US Bank to host open house for longtime employee

Officials at Lawrence’s US Bank are honoring a longtime employee who is retiring.
The US Bank branch at 900 Massachusetts St. will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 17 in honor of Wilma Leistra, a receptionist who has worked at the bank for the last 35 years.
Leistra started as a bookkeeper with the bank in 1979 when it was still known as Lawrence National Bank.
