Manhattan ? Winston Wiebe had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team defeated Tyro Christian, 76-42, on Saturday for third place in the Shea Invitational.

Miles Dressler added 13 points, Mark Weinhold 12 and Micah Edmondson 11 for the Eagles.

“Our team played really well tonight.” Veritas coach Blake Mudd said. “We moved the ball well and played sound defense.”

Veritas (2-2) will play at Topeka Cair Paravel on Tuesday.
