Kansas University announced Michele Arellano and Ash Shadrick as September’s Employees of the Month.

Arellano, an employee since 1999, is the associate director of the Office of Study Abroad. She oversees all information systems and student processes for almost 2,000 students who participate in more than 130 programs each year.

Shadrick, an employee since 2006, is the research technologist for the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is involved in the production and prototyping of various senior design and research projects and parts. He also assists in research for parts requested from faculty.
