Wise Women Build Conference scheduled for Sept. 7-8
The women of Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church are playing host to the 2013 Wise Women Build Conference Sept. 7 and 8. The conference will include a prayer breakfast at 8 a.m. Sept. 7 at First United Methodist Church, 925 Vermont St., and a church service at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 8 at Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church, 847 Ohio St.
Kelsey Kelley, from New Generation Christian Church in Lee’s Summit, Mo., will be the guest speaker at the breakfast and church service. The conference will help support Willow Domestic Violence Center by collecting toiletries and bedding to donate.
