A Lansing man and a woman were injured in a motorcycle accident early this morning in Bonner Springs, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority.

Michael J. Pruitt, 43, and Kari A. Pruitt, 39, were together on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle that crashed on a ramp connecting Interstate Highway 70 to Kansas Highway 7 in Bonner Springs about 1 a.m. Both were transported by ambulance to a Kansas City-area hospital, according to the KTA.

Journal-World news partner Operation 100 News reported that first responders on the scene observed that the two people were not wearing helmets and treated their injuries as possibly critical. No information about the victims’ condition was available today.
