In anticipation of poor weather later in the week, Free State High's baseball and softball teams have rearranged their schedules.

The Firebirds' baseball home game against Shawnee Mission East, originally scheduled for Thursday, now will be played Monday afternoon at 4.

Likewise, Free State's softball team has altered its Thursday plans and will now play host to SM East softball a day early, Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.

In an additional baseball change, FSHS will play host to a doubleheader on Wednesday, instead of a single game. The Firebirds first face Blue Valley North at 4 p.m., then take on Pembroke Hill, out of Kansas City, Mo., in the nightcap.
