Kansas soccer splits a pair

Kansas University soccer closed out its spring season with a 4-0 victory over UMKC and a 1-0 loss to Arkansas in an exhibition doubleheader on Saturday at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.

KU finished its exhibition slate 7-3-2, including 3-2-2 against NCAA competition.

“The level of play today was really good,” KU coach Mark Francis said. “I thought we competed and moved the ball around really well.”

Caroline Kastor, Courtney Dickerson, Sarah Robbins and Ashley Williams each scored a goal for KU, while Shelby Williamson recorded the shutout in goal.
