Overland Park — The Lawrence High varsity golf team tied for sixth place on Wednesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Invitational at Overland Park Golf Course.
The tournament consisted of alternate-shot, four-ball and scramble events.
The Lions scramble team of Anna Wright and Caroline Gish scored 36 points. Quillen Eichhorn and Abigail Schmidtberger combined for 38 points in the four-ball portion, and Attie Pennybaker and Campbell Drake carded 50 in alternate shot.
