Topeka ? The Lawrence High girls golf team placed fourth, Thursday at the Washburn Rural Invitational at Shawnee Country Club.

Lions senior Quillen Eichhorn shot an 85, which was good for seventh place overall. Junior Abbey Schmidtberger and senior Anna Wright tied for 19th place with identical scores of 94.

As a team, Lawrence High shot 368. Host Washburn Rural won the tournament with a combined score of 336.

LHS will play next on Wednesday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Tournament.
