Loving message

To the editor:

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, as I drove around Lawrence, from one job to another and running errands, I noticed all of the flags at half staff. It made me sad. It also reminded me of how important it is for those that we love and care about to be told that they are loved and cared about by you.

Those victims on 9-11-2001 had no chance of saying to their loved ones how much they loved and cared about them.

So I would ask that everyone call and tell those that they care and love most in their lives to tell them so. You never know when something tragic can happen to you or someone you love. So it is important to tell them so.

Please on 9-11 every year, call someone and tell them how much you love and care about them. After all, what harm can it do? And it is a way of honoring the ones that did not have that chance: the victims of 9-11.
