The Bio Channel interrupts our inescapable and all-too-premature holiday binge of forced cheer to premiere a new season of “Killer Kids” (7 p.m., 8 p.m., season premiere at 9 p.m.).

”Kids” consists of traumatic true-life tales teased out to an hour through extensive interviews and lurid re-enactments. It profiles foster children erupting in rage, drug-addled offspring gone homicidal and children consumed by occult violence. Expect to hear the phrase “every parent’s nightmare” more than once, and you will not be disappointed.

From “The Bad Seed” to “Children of the Corn,” young people who kill have had a strong hold on the human imagination. “Killer Kids” may be irresistible to some.

• On a more cheerful or, at least, predictable note, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (8 p.m. and 9 p.m., ABC) returns with a Thanksgiving-themed episode, four nights after the big day.

Tonight’s do-good-athon documents the construction of a special house for a Knoxville, Tenn., couple who have opened their home to adoptive children and have also begun a foundation to help single mothers living below the poverty line.

But just when we think the focus has shifted to their lives of good works, celebrity team leader Jenny McCarthy and ultimate fighter Jon “Bones” Jones arrive to start pounding nails.
