Here’s a quick look at the 23 Kansas University football players making their final appearance in uniform at Memorial Stadium today.

Tunde Bakare 5-10, 205, Linebacker

Known for his speed and power, the junior-college transfer made seven starts and delivered some of KU’s biggest hits during the past two seasons.

D.J. Beshears 5-9, 185, Wide Receiver

Record-setting return man also made an impact as a wide receiver and running back and played every game with an angry edge.

Greg Brown 5-10, 185, Cornerback

All-business defensive back who consistently lined up against the toughest wide receivers in the league and never backed down from any of them.

Josh Burgoon 6-1, 275, Offensive Lineman

Lenexa native and KU junior headed toward graduation is expected to forgo his final season of eligibility and pursue a teaching career.

Ryan Burton 5-9, 190, Running Back

Colorado Springs native widely respected for his relentless attitude on special teams, was awarded a scholarship for his final season.

Justin Carnes 6-1, 250, Long Snapper

Though just a junior athletically, this three-year starter at long snapper is on pace to graduate and likely will not be back for his final season of football.

Dayne Crist 6-4, 235, Quarterback

Notre Dame transfer and co-captain who used the fifth-year transfer rule to rejoin Charlie Weis at KU and started the first six games of the season.

Tanner Hawkinson 6-5, 300, Offensive Lineman

After shifting from tight end to the offensive line during his red-shirt season, he started every game of his career at tackle and will leave KU with the all-time record for consecutive starts.

Brandon Hawks 5-9, 190, Safety

Former walk-on from Oskaloosa earned a scholarship before the start of his senior season.

Tyler Hunt 6-2, 230, Linebacker

Lawrence High grad who joined the team as a walk-on in 2008 and worked his way into more of a prominent role on special teams.

Trevor Marrongelli 6-3, 303, Offensive Lineman

Fifth-year senior who has started all 10 games at center in 2012 after making 16 starts at guard during his sophomore and junior seasons.

Anthony McDonald 6-2, 235, Linebacker

Notre Dame transfer who plans to explore a career in the CIA or FBI after football.

Bradley McDougald 6-1, 209, Safety

Former Ohio State commitment came to Lawrence as a wide receiver, switched to safety near the end of his sophomore season and now appears to be staring at an NFL future.

Toben Opurum 6-1, 250, Defensive End

Fullback, turned linebacker, turned defensive end who started in each of his four seasons and was named a co-captain for 2012.

Daymond Patterson 5-8, 180, Wide Receiver

Known to people around campus and on Twitter as “DP,” the Mesquite, Texas, native was a fan favorite and electric playmaker.

Kale Pick 6-1, 205, Wide Receiver

Dodge City native who played three seasons at quarterback and became a starting wideout.

Corrigan Powell 5-10, 174, Cornerback

Dallas native played in nine games, including one start, as a true freshman.

Duane Zlatnik 6-4, 206, Offensive Lineman

Fifth-year senior who moved from the D-line to the O-line as a sophomore and started 31 games while becoming known as the strongest member of the front five.
