A former member of the Free State High volleyball program, Mariah Dickson will play in the 2012 NJCAA Division I tournament in her first season at Hutchinson Community College.

Dickson, a freshman for the Blue Dragons, scored key points for HCC in its Region VI championship match victory this past Sunday in Wichita.

The former Firebird’s new team received a No. 10 seed in the NJCAA tournament, which begins Thursday at West Plains, Mo.
