18 computers, valued at $30k, reported stolen from Art & Design building

Eighteen laptop computers, valued at more than $30,000, were reported stolen from the Kansas University Art & Design building, 1467 Jayhawk Blvd., Tuesday morning, according to a report from KU Public Safety.

Someone cut a lock off a cart to steal the computers, according to the report. The incident — reported at about 9:30 a.m.

As of Friday afternoon, KU Public Safety Capt. Schuyler Bailey said no updates on the case were available.
