Kansas University has an assortment of events scheduled around the university’s 140th commencement ceremony on Sunday, many of which will honor and recognize students in the graduating class.

The main ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. Sunday as graduates begin their traditional march through the Campanile and down the hill into Memorial Stadium.

Tuesday

4:30 p.m., Spooner Hall. University Scholarly Achievement Awards ceremony.

Thursday

6 p.m., Sheraton Hotel at Crown Center (formerly the Hyatt), 2345 McGee St., Kansas City, Mo. Dinner for School of Medicine graduates.

Friday

1 p.m., Lied Center. School of Social Welfare recognition for bachelor’s of social welfare candidates.
