Brew to Brew run set for Sunday
The 18th annual Brew to Brew relay run, a benefit for cystic fibrosis, will be held between Kansas City and Lawrence on Sunday.
The race, sponsored by the Kansas City Track Club, runs nearly 44 miles from Boulevard Brewery, 2501 Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Mo., to Free State Brewery, 636 Mass. About 100 of the 4,000 runners will complete the entire course, while the rest participate in relay legs, according to a media release from the club.
The race raised $56,000 for cystic fibrosis research last year and is on track to beat that record this year, according to the release.
