Attempted burglary leads to arrest early Friday

Lawrence police responded to a call early Friday about a man threatening another man with a gun through the window of an apartment in the 2900 block of West Seventh Street.

The victim knew the suspect, Capt. Bill Cory said, and police arrested the suspect on charges of aggravated attempted burglary.

Cory said police had not confirmed if the suspect had a weapon and that the incident was still being investigated as of 1:30 a.m. Police were called about 12:30 a.m.
