Police investigating attempted robbery at Ottawa Mini-Mart

Ottawa police were investigating an attempted robbery Tuesday of a the Ottawa Mini-Mart, 2120 S. Princeton St., said Lt. Adam Weingartner, a police spokesman.

A white female suspect at 4:50 a.m. demanded money, but apparently none was taken. She fled the area on foot. Weingartner said the woman was short, possibly pregnant, wearing gray sweatpants, a plaid shirt with a hood, a pink or red hooded sweatshirt that was over a plaid shirt and white tennis shoes with a black tongue and red shoelaces.
