The Lawrence Journal-World news and advertising divisions Thursday won 26 Kansas Press Association Awards of Excellence.

The Journal-World competed in a four-newspaper category that included the Wichita Eagle, the Kansas City Star and the Topeka Capital-Journal. The awards will be presented during KPA’s annual meeting April 20 and 21 at the Doubletree Hotel in Overland Park.
