New Orleans ? The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named Kansas University sophomore sprinter Diamond Dixon the Midwest region’s female track athlete of the year, and KU’s Wayne Pate the region’s women’s assistant coach of the year.

Next up for the Jayhawks will be the NCAA Indoor Championships held in Boise, Idaho, March 10-11.
