— Bennett Federico led all scorers with 16 points, and Topeka Hayden cruised to a 67-32 victory over Tonganoxie in Friday’s high school boys basketball sub-state semifinal at Bonner Springs High School.

Colby Yates led Tonganoxie (11-11) with nine points.

Baldwin — Ottawa out-scored Spring Hill 17-4 in the fourth quarter to come back and win.

Semi Ojeleye scored 35 points for Ottawa.

Ottawa will play Kansas City Sumner at 7:30 tonight in Baldwin for the sub-state title and a Class 4A state berth.
