Air ambulance responds to fall injury Tuesday afternoon
One person was injured in a fall Tuesday afternoon in northern Lawrence and flown by helicopter ambulance to an area hospital, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical Chief Mark Bradford said.
The incident occurred about 4:20 p.m. on Michigan Circle, which is northwest of Michigan Street and River Ridge Road and also north of Interstate 70. Bradford said the person fell from higher than 10 feet and was taken by a LifeStar air ambulance to the hospital.
