Teen’s piano concert to benefit food pantry

Eudora High School student Mason Kelso will present a piano concert at 2 p.m. Saturday to benefit a food pantry in Eudora.

The concert will be at Eudora United Methodist Church, 2084 N. 1300 Road, and will last about one hour. Kelso, 16, will be playing classical and modern music. He also will be accepting donations of cash or nonperishable food items to donate to the food pantry at St. Paul United Church of Christ.

Kelso, who has been playing the piano for 12 years, said he is having the concert to help families in need and to gain more experience as a musician.

The event is open to the public.
