A Lawrence woman told police that Thursday night in the 2400 block of Ousdahl Road an unknown man came to her door. He appeared intoxicated and produced a knife and began waving it around in a threatening manner when she asked him to leave, said Sgt. Trent McKinley, a Lawrence police spokesman. The woman closed to the door, and the man left the area before officers arrived about 10:20 p.m. Thursday.
