Road construction worker reports stolen car on KU campus

A man working on a road construction crew on the Kansas University campus reported to KU police his 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser was stolen Monday afternoon.

Maj. Chris Keary, assistant KU police chief, said that the vehicle was parked on the south side of 19th Street near Constant Avenue and that it was possible the suspect found a key inside the car. It was stolen between 12:30 p.m. and 3:17 p.m. Monday, Keary said.
